Dispute resolution
Disputes are handled exclusively by the SOSNA Trade Desk. Buyers and sellers never negotiate directly — we adjudicate on behalf of both sides based on documentation and platform rules.
1. Filing
Either party files a dispute through their SOSNA account. The lot status is frozen and any active reservation is paused while the Trade Desk takes over.
2. Evidence window
Both sides have a fixed window to submit documentation (certificates, condition reports, communication, shipping records). All evidence goes to the Trade Desk only — never to the counterparty.
3. Administrative review
The SOSNA Trade Desk reviews lab reports, provenance ledger entries, vault condition history and any supporting evidence. Independent re-verification may be commissioned at SOSNA's discretion.
4. Operational decision
SOSNA Trade Desk issues an operational decision for platform handling, payout eligibility, refund coordination or further review — for example confirmation, refund coordination, forfeit of a hold, partial settlement or relisting. This is a platform process, not a legal ruling, and does not affect either party's statutory rights under applicable law.
Rules for both sides
- • Counterparty identity is never disclosed.
- • All communication is routed through the SOSNA Trade Desk.
- • Timelines are binding; failure to submit evidence on time means a decision based on the available record.
- • Trade Desk decisions are an operational platform step — not a court, arbitration or regulatory ruling — and do not limit either party's statutory rights under applicable law.
- • SOSNA Exchange is not a court, arbitration body or regulated dispute-resolution authority.
